On Monday, 31 March, 2014, in Warsaw's Wola district, a meeting entitled ‘Wola demonstrates solidarity with Ukraine’ was held. During the meeting, the recent events in Ukraine were recalled; also, students of Polish and Ukrainian elementary schools gave an artistic performance.
Open Dialog Foundation arranges wounded Maidan activists’ treatment in Poland
On Wednesday, seven persons wounded in the clashes on the Maidan flew from Kiev Boryspil Airport to Poland for medical treatment.
The Taraka band supported families of those killed on the Maidan
The Taraka band decided to donate the royalties from the sale of its album „Podaj rękę Ukrainie [‘Give Ukraine a helping hand’] to the families of those killed on the Maidan. The money will be transferred through the Open Dialog Foundation.
The Open Dialog Foundation has transferred funds for a prosthetic arm replacement for a wounded Maidan activist
The Open Dialog Foundation has transferred $10,000 for the treatment of Maidan activist, Andrey Zhupnik, whose hand was blown off by a grenade. Currently, Andrey is undergoing treatment in a Lublin hospital, Poland.
