Simperopol at the Lenin Square
Simperopol at the Lenin Square at 8 am and 4 pm there are gatherings of Crimean Samoobrona. 50 - 100 people. Captains say that 16th of March is just the beginning of the struggle and not the end. They aim to continue their efforts to defend the process of merging Crimea with Russia.
Administration buildings and other strategic places are being guarded by Police (not Self-defense or “green guys”) in vests and AK47.
At 11 am a parody of Automaidan started from Lenin Square in Simperopol with the mottos "Yes Russia", "For Berkut".
Near the parliament of Crimea situation didn’t change: small parody of the EuroMaidan and a number of pro-russian Cossacks and "green guys".
At 2 p.m. there was a happening organized by Crimean tatars with flags of Ukraine, Russia and Crimea with the slogans: say no to referendum". From 700 up to 1000 people on a working day. Everything was calm, the general attitude was good. Bypassers in the cars shouted "Victory" or "Slava Ukraini" or "Fuck you". No harassment or attacks in Simperopol.
